Thank you for being part of the Life Over Coffee community. These terms of service (TOS) cover your use of our site and materials. Please read these terms carefully before you use the site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our site. Life Over Coffee is a 501(c)3 organization located in Greenville, South Carolina. All services provided by Life Over Coffee (LOC) are for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States federal, state or city law is prohibited. The usage includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, the material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secrets and other statutes.

The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless LOC from any claims resulting from the use of service that damages the subscriber or any other party. Prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to LOC servers or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

In compliance with IRS 501(c)(3) policies, please know that all political opinions and legislative type statements made on this site are the opinions of the writers of this site and not necessarily the views of our company, Life Over Coffee. Examples of unacceptable content or links:

  • Pirated software
  • Hacker programs or archives
  • Offensive, defamatory, or slanderous comments
  • Warez sites

Notice – If we find your account containing illegal activity, illegal MP3 files, pirated software, hacker programs, Warez programs, or any other illegal files, we will terminate your account immediately, without notice. Additionally, LOC will notify the proper authorities of your actions.


Refer all violations of these Acceptable Use Policies to Life Over Coffee. We investigate all complaints promptly. Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation.

Money-Back Guarantee and Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for canceled subscriptions. However, once LOC has been made aware of your intent to cancel your subscription, you will not be charged again.

Limitation of Liability

LOC shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages that may arise from LOC servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Furthermore, LOC shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any website from one of LOC’s servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.


LOC cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held accountable for any predicated estimate of profits that a client would have gained if their site was functioning. LOC resells certain services provided. Thus, specific equipment, routing, software, and programming used by LOC are not directly owned or written by LOC. Moreover, LOC holds no responsibility for the use of our clients’ accounts.

Failure to comply with any terms or conditions will result in the automatic deactivation of the account in question. We reserve the right to remove any account, without advance notice for any reason without restitution, as LOC sees fit. We will, however, advise you by e-mail or phone before taking any action to provide you with an opportunity to correct the problem.

Account Activation

By activating your account with LOC, you agree to the above policies and disclaimer, including our Privacy Policy. Upon requesting activation of an account, you are required to accept these policies, guidelines, and disclaimers.

Information Automatically Logged

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. We use this information for no other reason.

Third Parties

Information collected on this site is strictly for our use. No other outside persons may view your personal information such as billing information unless permitted as articulated in our Privacy Policy.

E.g., all supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise, transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information, except which is permitted per our Privacy Policy. This practice does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our’s or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, we may provide non-personally identifiable visitor information to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Membership Payment

Each member is set up on recurring billing and will be charged on a monthly, yearly, or bi-yearly cycle, depending on the individual Member’s plan. If you wish to cancel your membership, you are welcome to do so at any time. You can contact us here.


You are welcome to share our articles with your family and friends or in counseling or discipleship situations.

User IDs and Passwords Responsibility

Once you have chosen your user ID (username), we cannot change it. We keep track of each ID, and if you have forgotten yours, you can contact us here, and we will send it to you. We do not keep track of passwords. If you have forgotten your password, you may change it.

TOS Modifications

We reserve the right to change the terms of this Terms of Service from time to time. We will post any changes here, so please check back periodically. Your continued use of our website after any change has been posted constitutes acceptance of the change to this Terms of Service.
