Anger – Its Cause and Solution

Anger begins in a self-righteous heart and works out as anger toward other people. The source of anger is an elevated, “greater than/better than” attitude that looks down on another person. The irony is that all people are the same in that the only true righteousness any person can have is Christ’s righteousness, which is freely given, not earned. The cure for the angry person is reoriented their heart back to the humility of the gospel.
