We continue to focus on video production. I’m working through our , putting them into short video formats. YouTube is a “teen haven,” and I hope our videos will reach them. We have added several other videos to our , fifty-one altogether in the past three months. Please to our channel.
Our church asked me to train their summer, counseling intern. Our team, Brandi, Mark, and me, are working with her weekly for the next ten weeks. She’s going through a portion of our Mastermind Program. This equipping is a trial run that I hope to offer to other churches who have those interested in doing a similar internship. If you have a candidate for biblical counseling training, let us know.
We hope to start rolling out modular training by late summer. We want to create mid-level training that provides more than our free articles, podcasts, and videos, but not as daunting as our enormous Mastermind Program. The plan is to develop one-off topical training programs on various subjects like marriage, parenting, pre-marital counseling, fear, addictions, and more. We’re talking with a company in India who may be able to help us build these smaller Learning Management Systems.
We still plan to release all of our content this fall. We have several items to complete on the web development side to prepare the website for this project. As we continue to give more of our resources away, we need your prayers, ask God to bring us more financial supporters.
I want to find a publisher who would take on our book projects to move away from self-publishing. If you can submit proposals and know how to get our books in front of well-known publishers for publication, I’d love to speak with you about this. Ideally, I’d like to find a person who would own this initiative. We would be able to help more folks if we had a publisher, rather than our current self-publication strategy.
We have restarted our speaking engagements. I hope these will continue to pick-up. We have five slated from August to December. Lucia and I will be in Idaho, New Jersey, Florida, and North Caroline (twice). If you want us to come to your area or know someone who’d like to have me speak, please contact us.
Occasionally, someone will ask how they can help us. I love these requests. Where we are as a ministry today, we’re looking for highly skilled folks who have a solid resume for the things we need. Our ministry is more sophisticated now, and the people who come to us expect high-quality content. Thus, our staff must be experts in what they do. For example, our most current hires have been individuals with a proven skillset.
Skilled Positions Needed: Marketing, Social Media, Administrator, SEO, Graphic Design, Video Production, Podcast Production.
We do have a candidate for our Lead Administrator position. It’s a 40K per year, full-time job. We’re not “in faith” to hire this person at this time due to our country’s volatility, the COVID problem, and uncertainty about our ongoing support.
Will you ask the Lord to bring us one or two donors who can substantially provide so we can hire this person? One of the things that would help is if churches would take us on for monthly support. We don’t have a lot of churches that support us. It’s mostly individuals.
If businesses, churches, and substantial donors helped, it would position us to give our content away while giving us the help we need to respond to the folks who ask us for assistance.
What Can You Do?
Thank you!
