Boston Bruin Dave Forbes struck his Minnesota North Star competitor (Henry Boucha) in the eye, causing prolonged damage. Forbes was the first professional athlete taken to court for actions during the game. Through a series of providential circumstances, Dave reconciled with his former adversary forty-five years later.
